My Experience

I have over 5 years of experience working closely with children with a wide range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, global developmental delay, sensory processing difficulties, and speech and language challenges. My work has taken place in both home and educational settings, providing one-to-one support that is tailored to each child’s individual needs, pace, and personality.

I’ve supported children in developing communication skills, improving focus and attention, managing emotional regulation, and building confidence in key academic areas such as early literacy and numeracy. I use a calm, patient, and consistent approach, always placing the child’s comfort and trust at the centre of everything I do.

I’m confident in using visual aids, sensory tools, and structured routines to support engagement and learning, and I work closely with families to ensure a joined-up, supportive approach that truly benefits the child’s overall development.
