About Me
I have completed my Primary Education BA in University and I am now a qualified teacher. Since I have qualified, I have been doing supply work in different schools, being able to work with different age groups. This has been a great experience so far as I have gained more subject knowledge and how to meet the children's needs. My passion for teaching and caring for children has been within me for a while and it will always be here.
In terms of my interests and hobbies, I love going to the gym either before and after work as I believe it has given a great impact on my mental and daily health. Apart from this, I also love going to Starbucks for a coffee and a revision session! I bring my laptop and stay there for hours doing work!
I believe that I am an extremely confident person when it comes to teaching, babysitting or tutoring children around all ages and this is due to the great passion I have for children! I could honestly write a book of different reasons why I love my job! I always just want to strengthen my knowledge within education and how to make an impact on children's learning developments.
My Experience
I started working with the children from the age of 16 while I was studying. I started off as babysitting two boys once a week. I would cook them dinner, support them with their homework and get them ready for bed. At the same as job, I was also babysitting a toddler during the weekends while the parents were out. I did the similar jobs as my other babysitting work, such as feeding him, playing with him, putting him to sleep, giving my all attention. Another job that I was doing alongside with these two jobs was tutoring. I tutored a Year 1 girl for a couple of months. The only reason why I stopped these three jobs was due to COVID starting and unfortunately the parents could not have me around anymore.
Being the oldest sibling, during COVID, I would always be the one taking care of my siblings due to my parents having to work full time. The care and passion I have for children did not stop and this passion will always carry on.
I then started University at the age of 18 and I am now a qualified primary school teacher doing some supplying work during the week.
