About Me

Hello my name is Sophie Hallett i am a babysitter but i am also happy to tutor maths and science i am happy to do this separately or at the same time if needed. I am a kind and caring person and have grown up with children around me so I am often helping look after children. I have a lot of experience particularly with children through church and having a large extended family. I am able to drive so can do jobs which are slightly further away. I am very caring, kind, honest, reliable and I enjoy seeing kids smiling and being happy. I have a lot of energy so if needed I can easily look after energetic children. I love to encourage imaginative, out-door, creative and educational play. If you want to meet up beforehand I am happy with that.

I am willing to transport your children around if needed however I charge 45p per mile. Please feel free to contact me. I am willing to travel with you if you want childcare whilst you are away (in UK or abroad) (however you would need to pay for costs). I am currently studying Paediatric Nursing at ARU and looking to earn extra money in my free time at the moment I only have lectures and work to do 3 days a week (however when I am on placement I don't know how busy I willl be) but even then I would still be available in the evenings.

I also offer wedding and event nannying and childcare. I am happy to come along to your wedding and provide childcare this is charged at a higher rate than included in here and travel to and from the venue if further than 5 miles from my house will be charged at 45p per mile. I will wear appropriate attire to fit in with your guests if you wish so as not to ruin any photos. Payment for wedding's are required in advance. With a 50% reservation fee and full payment due 1 week before the wedding or event.

Cancellations : Regrettably, I do need to charge for cancellations if a booked service is cancelled within 48 hours of the start time. For cancellations received less than 48 hours before the booked time, the charge is 50% of the agreed rate for the time booked. For cancellations received with less than 24 hours notice, full payment for the booking will be expected. In exceptional / emergency circumstances, I may be able to reduce or waive the fee; however, this will be at my sole discretion.

Additional hours : As I may have several commitments on a day, additional, un-booked hours can be present a significant challenge to me. As such, any delay beyond 15 minutes will be charged as a full additional hour. For a delay of over 45 minutes, additional hours, or part thereof, will be charged at 150% of the agreed rate.

Tutoring: Cancellations within 72 hours are fully chargeable.
