Hiya! My name is Raphy and I'm 27 years old.
I live in Sheffield. I'm currently taking a break from full time employment.
I am a senior support worker in a specialist college and I work with students with autism, learning disability and mental health needs.
I have been an au pair in London and I find the experience very rewarding.
I have also worked as a social worker in my hometown Hong Kong and had experience in childcare and supporting children and adults with special needs.
I am all about person centred care and I believe that genuine love and care are essential to children.
I play a bit of music and practice aikido in my free time.
My Experience
I have lots of experience working with children. I have always been a big sister growing with my younger bro! (though sometimes he finds me annoying)
I always babysit my neighbours' kids and I'm always asked to offer private tutoring and help with homework (Hong Kong mums are absolutely serious when it comes to academics) :)
I have extensive experience supporting individuals with special needs (autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, etc) both as a babysitter/private tutor since my high school years and professionally as a social worker/support worker.
My Qualifications
I have completed a range of trainings in care including safeguarding, first aid and safety intervention.
I hold a full, clear DBS certificate.
I have GCSE and A-levels equivalence in English, Maths and Science
I finished my master degree in social work 2 years ago and I have been a social worker since. I'm a registered social worker in England & Hong Kong
