About Me
Hi! I’m Ella — a full?time private tutor based in Marlow. I grew up in Beaconsfield, attending High March and later Beaconsfield High School, so I know the local area and its schools inside out. I specialise in GCSE preparation, particularly in English, Spanish and Religious Studies, and I’ve taught for six years with over 5,000 hours of lessons and 400+ five?star reviews on a private platform. I’m fully DBS?checked and have extensive experience working with children of all ages. A core part of my teaching philosophy is creating fun, engaging lessons that students genuinely look forward to, while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and academic rigour. I believe students learn best when they feel relaxed, supported and confident and my lessons are designed to bring out exactly that.
My Experience
As a babysitter, I have several years of experience caring for children aged three and above, and as someone with five pets of my own, I’m completely comfortable looking after animals in the home as well. My work as a tutor means I interact daily with students of all ages and learning needs, giving me a strong understanding of how to engage, support and communicate with young people effectively. I also have experience with virtual babysitting, regularly supporting a six?year?old for two hours each week by keeping him engaged with educational and entertaining activities. Beyond childcare, I have worked with adult learners, helping individuals develop their conversational and written English skills. In addition, I have experience as a PA to the CEO of a recruitment firm, assisting with administrative tasks whenever required.
My Qualifications
I have achieved a First Class degree classification in BA Criminology from the University of Nottingham. I also have a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification and Level 3 Personal Training qualification. I am also fully DBS checked at the enhanced level.
My Availability
My availability is very flexible, and I’m someone families can genuinely rely on for emergency or last?minute babysitting. I’m available on weekends and evenings, and I’m always happy to step in when unexpected plans arise. For tutoring, I offer online lessons only, and I can also mark essays or homework at short notice. This allows students to receive quick, high?quality feedback whenever they need it.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
My tuition fees are reflective of the large amount of experience I have attained whilst working within the tutoring industry. I charge £45 per hour for all students. For babysitting, I charge £15 per hour. Regarding my Online Coaching and Personal Training, please message me for more details.
