Hello! I’m Lydia, a 22-year-old Psychology student at the University of Kent, soon starting my second year. I live in Canterbury and can easily get to you by bike or public transport.
I’ve always loved spending time with children and hope to build a career supporting children and young people with unique needs. Parents describe me as caring, dependable, and easy to get along with. While looking after your little ones, I’m also happy to lend a hand with light housework or school runs.

My Experience
I have a range of childcare experience with different age groups.
For several months in Wiltshire, I cared for a one-year-old, where my responsibilities included engaging in play, taking him on walks in a stroller, and preparing his meals.
While working near Liverpool, I regularly looked after a friend’s children aged 6 and 8. This involved school drop-offs and pick-ups a few times a week, as well as keeping them entertained and supported after school.
I have also volunteered with Rainbow Scouts as part of my Duke of Edinburgh Award, spending Friday evenings with 5–6-year-olds, leading arts and crafts activities and helping to supervise their games.
My Qualifications
I hold 10 GCSEs and 3 A-levels in English Language, Sociology, and Photography, as well as the Duke of Edinburgh Award. I have a strong work ethic developed through a variety of part-time and full-time roles, including customer service, waitressing, barista work, and assisting as a chef.
