About Me
I am a trained and qualified childcare provider with years of childcare experience. I'm a friendly, calm person who believes in a child centred approach, treating each child equally, but as individuals. I believe in safeguarding each child, as well as maintaining high levels of confidentiality. I believe in creating a safe, happy place for children to thrive and be their true selves. Childcare is a very rewarding career, which I enjoy working in.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new places, adventuring on days out, and capturing memories along the way with my phone camera. I also enjoy the simpler things in life, such as curling up with a good book or catching up on movies/series I've been meaning to watch. I also like to spend time with my kitten and visit family/friends when possible.
My Experience
When I went into childcare as a full-time profession, I was able to fulfil my dream of helping others and teaching future generations. Working in childcare is so varied that no day is the same. Watching the future generations become their own selves is inspiring, and knowing I was a part of their journey is very rewarding.
Alongside my experience of working with children in various settings, I have private experience of babysitting/nannying from 0 to 16. I have done this for several years, and I am happy to provide references from families I have helped.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 in Early Years and Education.
I have an enhanced DBS, which is on the online update service.
I am paediatric first aid trained, with basic adult first aid included.
I have undergone various safeguarding training courses, online and with bcp Council back in 2021.

Imogen is absolutely amazing with my daughter who is 4. First time she helped me out on a very short notice and my daughter was so happy when she came back from hers. She get’s so happy and excited as soon as she knows that she is going to see Imogen. Definitely recommend her to everyone.

Imogen looked after my 10 month old son. It was the first time I’ve left him with anyone other than family so I was super nervous but Imogen kept me updated the whole time and I was reassured. He came home very happy and smiley and Imogen provided lots of activities and playtime with him. we even got a painting he made which was so special. Thank you so much! Will definitely be using Imogen’s services again :)
