Booking Information
To secure a booking, payment is required in advance.
Availability can change regularly, therefore early enquiries are recommended for ongoing placements and school-term arrangements.
Please refer to my fee structure and booking terms before confirming a booking.

- Babysitting from £22.00 per hour
- Nannying from £22.00 per hour (gross)
Fees & Booking Terms
Standard Rates
• 1 child: £22 per hour
• 2 children: £24 per hour
• 3 children: £26 per hour
• 4 children: £28 per hour
Reduced rates may be available for regular ongoing placements.
Specialist Care Rates
Services requiring specialist knowledge, experience and flexibility are charged from £27 per hour.
This may include:
• Newborn care
• Maternity support
• Night nanny care
• Premature babies
• Twins and multiples
• Children with additional needs
• Complex medical needs
• Emergency childcare bookings
• Specialist family support
Rates for overnight care, live-in support, travel accompaniment and bespoke family requirements are available upon request.
Minimum Booking Periods
• School pick-up and after-school care: Minimum 3-hour booking
• Daytime bookings: Minimum 3-hour booking
• Evening babysitting: Minimum 4-hour booking
• Overnight care: Charged at an agreed overnight rate
Regular Ongoing Placements
Regular weekly placements are secured through advance booking.
Families wishing to reserve specific days and times on an ongoing basis may be asked to pay a retainer to hold those sessions.
Retainers are non-refundable and ensure availability remains reserved exclusively for that family.
A minimum of four weeks’ notice is required by either party for permanent changes to an agreed ongoing placement.
Booking & Payment
Sessions are booked and paid for in advance to secure dates.
Availability cannot be guaranteed until payment has been received.
Agreed session times are reserved in full, even if a session finishes earlier than planned.
Monthly invoicing may be arranged for regular ongoing placements.
Cancellations
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice remain chargeable in full.
For regular ongoing placements, reserved sessions remain chargeable unless otherwise agreed in advance.
If I need to cancel due to illness or emergency, this will only be done where necessary to protect the safety and wellbeing of the children in my care. In these circumstances, I will always aim to offer either a refund or an alternative session where possible.

Samantha cared for our 21 month old when we were in hospital for birth of our second child. Samantha was warm, calm, and professional in her assessment and care of our son. It was also reassuring knowing she is a nurse. She offered flexibility and was responsive to the unpredictable nature of our birthing situation. We had comfort and peace of mind knowing our son was in good hands with Samantha. We would highly recommend her to other parents.

Samantha has helped us with our baby - newborn, she has been very helpful with feeding/changing/burping/sleeping etc and giving advice. Felt very comfortable leaving her with the newborn. Samantha has a calm and warm presence. She is considerate and quiet as we have a small flat. We look forward to her coming each time. We recommend her.

Samantha has looked after our children (8&12) based at our home over the past year, min 3 days per week, before and after school including drop & collect. Samantha has always been reliable and flexible when we have needed additional short notice help and school holidays. This type of childcare flexibility is very hard to find and we would absolutely recommend Samantha.

I contacted Samantha last year in November,2022. She has been looking after my 3 year old daughter since November,2022. If I have to describe Samantha in one word, I would say Amazing. Due to working in ED, Me and my wife's rota is quite hectic and unsocial. However, Samantha was so helpful and flexible. She agreed to come to our house in the evening and stayed till 11.30 p.m most of the time. Our daughter loves Samantha so much and always keep asking us when Samantha will come to play with her. She keeps our daughter busy by telling stories, playing together, building blocks, drawing together etc. I am really grateful to her. She is trustworthy, kind hearted and an amazing person. I highly recommend her.

Samantha looks after our two boys twice a week, we could not be happier with her. We needed someone who was going to be able to be with us through nursery/school transitions, longer term, and in Samantha we have found that.
Samantha is a very reliable person, turns up on time and always with a smile. She is thoughtful in how she talks to the kids, big on manners (which I love), big on safety, generally conscientious in how she looks after children and provides reassurance to us as the parents.
Samantha has a very warm, patient disposition, but also holds authority, a combination which allows me to feel that I am leaving my kids in the steadiest, most trustworthy of hands. During her time with the kids, she is fully present and enthusiastic about their interests, also making sure they get a daily outdoor adventure in too. The handover when Samantha arrives is always peaceful, and it is extremely evident that the kids love spending time with her.
Samantha, has also stepped in when we've needed last minute help, she always does her best to accommodate. One of these occasions, my youngest wasn't able to go to nursery due to illness and having been paediatric nurse, there was no one I felt better looking after him than Samantha.
As a child carer, Samantha is experienced, caring, reliable, and is a total pleasure to have in our house, which feels so important as I work from home. We've quickly come to rely on Samantha and count her as a reassuring and trusted part of our support system. We couldn’t recommend her more highly!

It has been such a pleasure to care for your boys, I have just as much fun with them both, they keep me on my toes and make the days a pleasure.
You have made me feel very welcome in your home and I am so appreciative of us working together.
We were very lucky to find Samantha when we needed last minute childcare. Samantha made fast friends with our two small children, and she's done a fantastic job with them during her last two visits. Would highly recommend her if you're looking for an experienced and friendly babysitter.
