About Me
I am a fully qualified Primary School teacher, with experience in both the state and private sector. I have most recently worked in the independent sector and teaching children aged between 6-7 years old. I am young, enthusiastic and love working with and caring for children.
My Experience
I have a PGCE with QTS (specialism- early years). I have a host of experience working with children in a variety of settings. I worked as an English Language teacher in Vietnam, teaching children between 3-11 years old. I have Primary School teaching experience for two years in the state sector, in a rigorous inner London school. More recently, I have completed my second year of teaching in the independent sector.
My Qualifications
I have 9 GCSE’s A*-B grades.
I have 3 A Levels all grade B and an AS Level grade A.
I hold a BA (Hons) in Theology 2.1 classification.
I have achieved a PGCE in Primary School Education.
Following on from this I have had multi- disciplinary training to care and protect children.

Maria was absolutely wonderful with our 2 children. She was flexible with us and our last minute requests. She checked in with us and gave us updates. Overall she was very kind & responsive. I hope to have her again for our next outing.

Maria is brilliant. From the moment she walked through the door, she engaged and connected with our strong-willed 2.5yr old boy. She looked after him for 5 days over the summer holiday, in our house, whilst we worked from home. She thought of varied activities, took initiative in providing him with water and snacks when needed, had loads of patience (she even managed to convince him to first eat some healthy lunch before tucking into the biscuits they had made earlier that day…!). They had so much fun playing with puzzles, duplo, doing crafts, reading stories, going on little walks, etc. Maria brings a lot of her teaching expertise to the job. I highly recommend Maria. She was sincere, engaged, highly skilled, super patient, respectful of our parenting style, a great communicator and I heard so much laughter from them both throughout the week. Next time we need someone to cover the childcare I would ask her back without a doubt.

My daughters had an amazing time with Maria. She is very gentle and caring and found creative ways to play and stimulate them. She is a very nice presence to have around.

If you are looking for reliable and excellent babysitter look no further. We messaged her at short notice due to a cancellation and she was prompt to let us know she could fill in the gap. We haven't looked back since. Maria has been really good with our daughter and she loves her company. She would find creative ways to involve her in activities that are fun, engaging and a great learning experience. You can tell she loves what she does. I would highly recommend her!

I put up an advert on this website to ask for a babysitter to help for the next day. Maria messaged me back saying that she is available and can commit to two more Wednesdays that I have asked for. I replied within 5 minutes and asked her to give me a call to confirm, but , unfortunately, the communication stopped there. I will not contact her again.
