About me:
I have plenty of experience with babies and children through regular babysitting, childminding and nannying for friends and family. I currently have a number of clients for whom I am babysitting (please see my Reviews for references).
I had a successful career in retail for large companies and supermarkets so have plenty of professional experience, great communication skills, and very clean, tidy and organised.
I am passionate about cooking, music and can stitch and sew clothes, and love gardening. I love the energy of children, am very patient, kind and caring.
I am a great cook and can make a variety of meals (specialising in Indian / South Asian meals).

My Experience
I have raised three sons who are now adults with professional careers so have plenty of real-life experience. I have also done regular babysitting for friends and family. My current client’s children ages range from 6 months to 14 years old. I have a basic DBS Check and am applying for an Enhanced DBS. Also, check out my reviews for proven experience.

My current schedule can/does vary with my current clients so I have selected all the availability boxes. Generally I am available for regular work as well as ad-hoc, emergency, last-minute or one-off babysitting/nanny/house-keeper services.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
To make it simple and easy for all, my rate is from £20 per hour for all work/jobs (I.e. whether its babysitting, cooking, housework, cleaning, etc) as I tend to do a mix of these for a parent (depending on their needs) and it changes from week to week.

Harjit has supported me with my 10 month old for a few hours throughout the month of June and July. Five minutes was what it took for Harjit to connect with our baby, who is quite picky about people, and our 2 year old. Throughout the time she supported us, she was exceptional - she helped with feeding, played, tidied up and ironed when the baby was asleep. A real life saviour! She's reliable, competent and kind. I would recommend Harjit to everyone!

Harj is punctual, reliable and highly professional which makes everything run smoothly and gives us real peace of mind. She engages really well with our son, who genuinely enjoys spending time with her and is always happy in her care.
We also really appreciate the extra effort she puts in—she has cooked delicious Indian food and always keeps the kitchen clean and tidy. It’s clear she takes pride in what she does.
We would definitely recommend her to any family looking for a caring and trustworthy childminder.

Thank you so much for your kind and sweet words Sree. It is a joy to look after your son who is so kind, caring, sweet, thoughtful and smart. I enjoy all the activities we do together and all the time we spend together from collecting him from school, to playing with him, feeding him and having interesting conversations.
Sree and her husband are wonderful people who always treat me like family and with the upmost respect and care. They communicate very well and always have a smile on their face. I am happy to hear that you both like my cooking and food, it is a pleasure to cook for you all and see you all enjoy the meals and dishes. I would definitely recommend working Sree and her lovely family as I really enjoy our time together.
I contacted Harj as I needed someone quite last minute (a week or so notice) to pick up my son from nursery and take care of him for the afternoon, handing over to another babysitter for the evening. She came over to meet / play with F for an hour a few days prior to the actual care and he took to her very well! We can’t wait to work with Harj again in future. Thank you :)

It was lovely to meet Claudia and her son. They both treated me like a family member and welcomed me into their home. Her son was really happy and excited to see me when I first went which made my day!
I felt comfortable and safe at her home. Her son is a really friendly and lovely child. It was a true pleasure to look after him and I look forward to working with you again very soon 😊
