About Me
I am a warm, caring and highly experienced childcare professional with over 20 years of experience working with children from birth to 18 years in both mainstream and Special Educational Needs (SEN) settings. I also hold a BA (Hons) Degree in Early Childhood Studies, giving me a strong understanding of child development and how every child learns and grows in their own unique way.
I run a welcoming home nursery from 7:00am-6:00pm, caring for children from 6 months to 5 years, as well as offering before and after-school care. My aim is to provide a safe, loving and stimulating environment where children feel happy, secure and confident to explore, learn and thrive.
I believe children learn best through play, curiosity and meaningful relationships. Every day is filled with fun, age-appropriate activities that support communication, creativity, independence and school readiness, while always following each child’s individual interests and developmental needs.
I prepare fresh, nutritious home-cooked meals daily and work closely with parents to ensure every child receives the highest standard of care. Building strong partnerships with families is something I truly value, as I believe children flourish when home and childcare work together.
Parents often describe me as patient, trustworthy, nurturing and approachable. I genuinely love what I do, and there is nothing more rewarding than watching children grow in confidence, achieve new milestones and develop a lifelong love of learning.

My Experience
I have 20+ years of professional childcare experience working with children from birth to 18 years across home, nursery, school and Special Educational Needs (SEN) settings.
I hold a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies and have extensive knowledge of child development, safeguarding, the EYFS framework, behaviour support and inclusive practice. I have supported children with a wide range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language delays, and learning disabilities.
I currently run a home nursery since 2021, providing high-quality childcare for children aged 6 months to 5 years, alongside before and after-school care. I plan engaging, play-based learning experiences, prepare fresh home-cooked meals daily, and work closely with parents to support each child’s learning, confidence and well being.
My experience has taught me that every child is unique, and I am passionate about creating a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment where children feel valued, develop independence and reach their full potential.

My Availability
I am available 5 days a week, all year around.
Long term, short term also available.
My Fees
- Childminding from £12.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
£80 a day
