About Me
Hello, my name is Beth and I am 20 years old, I have worked in childcare for 3 years ( Eastkilbride) and I have worked with children from the ages 1-5. I am a very enthusiastic, caring and confident person and have a true passion for childcare. I am the second oldest out of 5 siblings ( 3 being younger ) who I have took care of on many occasions and my mum being a key worker throughout the pandemic I took care of my younger siblings every day and night so I have lots of experience in a more homely environment also. I have a drivers licences and I own my own car and have been driving for 1 year this April.
My Experience
I am currently a qualified nursery practitioner in Toybox nursery where I have been for 3 years. I began my apprenticeship in the 1-2 room then moved on into the 2-3 room through time. I also attended level 1 makaton course which I teach the children in my nursery and will be continuing this into a more advanced course through time! I am part of the SSSC and have done many training courses through ( azilo training ) and have experience from different age ranges and also children with special needs. In my setting I’ve been able to work closely with the “curriculum of excellence “ supporting the children and providing different activities and experiences to ensure it fits each child’s needs and guide them through their development.

My Availability
I currently went from full time work to part time and I now work Tuesday - Thursday 8-5pm or 9-6pm so I am available the following days,
- Friday , Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
I can do anytime those days with preferably some notice to prevent not being able to assist but I do drive so if it is a last minute request I would most likely be able to help and accommodate.
