Dealing with different ages, I have been able to learn what each one of the individuals I look after need . Generally engaging with each child and giving them attention and time is my primary responsibility. Other additional duties depending on age mainly include organising/supervising indoor and outdoor activities which can help in their physical and mental development (playing, reading books , walking , cycling, etc ) , assisting with homework, meal preparation, bathing , getting them ready for naps/bedtime and generally maintain their daily routine.
My Experience
Gained over five years of experience through informal babysitting responsibly providing reliable and caring supervision from children aged 4-11 years old.
Took children to and from school, after-school clubs, activities and appointments
Maintained household organization and cleanliness
Promptly communicated with parents about any issues or urgent matters
Utilized first aid training to clean and dress any of the children’s minor scrapes, cuts or insect bites
Incorporated tutoring and fun activities to keep children engaged and learning
My Qualifications
My qualifications are in computer science and therefore not related to babysitting however I do have first aid training and have 5 years of experience. Willing to provide references if required. I also speak English and Somali. And partially speak and fully understand both Korean and Arabic.
My Availability
I do 4 hours minimum of babysitting. Am also available for school runs.
