My Summary

My Experience

I have had a lot of experience in looking after different demographics when it comes to people. I started this journey in the healthcare industry while looking after the elderly in various care homes and also spending some time in support work where I travelled to clients homes and supported them through their daily tasks such as getting ready for the day and night, assisting them in any activities they wanted to partake in and offering comfort in times of distress. Although both jobs required a lot of my energy, i enjoyed making connections to these people and getting their perspective of life.

During my first year of Alevels, i offered my assistance to younger students in understanding science topics, more specifically, biology and chemistry. I also enjoyed this experience as i was able to teach my knowledge to them in a way that was best suited to them and their abilities at the time.
Apart from these few jobs, i have also always been looking after family members children when needed since the age of 14. This allowed me to gain the skill of knowing how to handle children of different ages and personalities via different approaches as not every child is the same. A few of the responsibilities I’ve had when it has come to looking after them have been, getting them ready and taking them to school, feeding changing bathing and cooking for them all while providing an entertaining and enjoyable atmosphere that they felt comfortable and safe in as that has always been my number 1 priority.

My Qualifications

I haven’t obtained any childcare qualifications but i have training in working with vulnerable people as per my past occupations.

My Availability

My evenings and weekends are almost always free. I also get weeks off which I will dedicate to working.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £11.00 per hour

I am quite flexible with my pay.
