About Me
Just a quick hi to introduce myself! I'm Devon and the childminder behind Bright Berries Childcare! My husband 'Mr Berry' and I have 2 wonderful children of our own currently aged 7 and 4, they are polar opposites but both so funny, caring and kind! They are partly the reason for me entering childminding, I want to create an environment that I would like my children to have been in.
I really want to give children a home from home with wonderful experiences and learning opportunities whilst feeling loved and special! Play is key in order for children to learn and that will be what my setting is all about! I plan on filling the space full of laughter, smiles and play! :)
My Experience
In addition to my boys, another reason I have made the move into childminding is my love for early years, during my teacher training I specialised in early years and have been teaching for 6 years with another 8 years previous working as a TA and within a nursery.
My Qualifications
BA Honours Degree in Early Childhood Studies
PGCE - Primary
Paediatric First Aid Trained
Designated Safeguarding Lead Training
Food Hygiene
I will also be completing plenty of CPD to ensure the care I give is at it's peak!
My Availability
Currently have 1 space available throughout the week.
My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
£49.50 - all day (8am-5pm) this includes breakfast before 8:30am, Lunch and snacks throughout the day.
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Lindens Primary School
