About Me
Hello, my name is Rachael and I am qualified primary school teacher with 15 years experience. I have lots of experience working with SEND children and this is where I feel my passion lays. I am also a mother, so understand the challenges that parents can face in order to encourage their children to embrace education. My philosophy is to motivate a love and enjoyment of learning and the battle can be overcome. I am able to create a learning plans to suit your needs.
My Experience
I have been qualified for 15 years and have a variety of roles within the primary school setting. Some of these include teaching my own year 6 classes (preparing for SATs) to teaching nursery children, who can find the world of education daunting. I have also work with many children with special educational needs, both in group settings and in a role as 1:1 for 4 years.
I have most recently left the classroom setting, for the most part, and have been tutoring children who perhaps do not feel they access the school environment well and so are home schooling. This has been an interesting challenge and one that I am thoroughly enjoying.
My Qualifications
I have a QTS (qualified teacher status) with special educational needs.
I also have various certifications around mental health and wellbeing in children and I am currently completing a dyslexia diploma. I am happy to share my certificates upon request.

- Tutoring from £25.00 per hour
My fee's would differ depending on the services required. Most of my tutoring takes place online.
