About Me
I am currently a university student studying Medical Biochemistry however Medicine is my passion. My dream is to become a Pediatrician. I was born and grew up in Spain in a little town near Barcelona. I came to the UK about 6 years ago because my parents came here to look for more job opportunities. I have two sisters and a brother, me being the eldest.
I consider myself a really hard working individual. A cool fact about me is that I speak about 6 different languages but please don't try me because I get very shy.
My Experience
My experience in childcare is broad, from volunteering with children to looking after my younger siblings. Being the eldest, I have naturally taken on the role to look after my 2 younger siblings, aged 6 and 9 at the time. Due to a personal matter, I took on the role of being a full-time carer at the age of 16 for both of my younger siblings, this taught me a lot about what it takes to look after children. Looking after them consisted of many things, helping with homework, making lunches or taking them to the park. For these three months, I took on the role of both parents, equipping me with the core skills needed to be a good carer.
During my A-Levels, I would tutor secondary school students (aged 12-16) after school about 3 times per week. It consisted of helping them with homework, teaching them content that they struggled with, and encourage them with positive speech to do better. The subjects that I would tutor were Spanish, Maths, and Science. This was very rewarding as I directly saw how my help had a positive impact on the children, which led to them achieving their predicted grades.
Furthermore, I have over a year's experience volunteering with children in a weekend school for children with disabilities. My role was to take care of and make socially engaging activities for the children (ages 3-10). I was assigned a child and I would go for walks, feed, and playing with the child. The volunteering would take place every 4 weekends. It was about 16 hours a month.

Hajer is a very nice person to deal with. She is so humble, spontenous, punvtual and responsive. My daughter (6 years old) got along with her easily; she is asking about her and want more babysitting with her.
I you need some help, definitly she is the one to pick to pit your mind in peace.

Hajar helped to look after my one-year-old while I’m working at home. My little one is in a clingy phase, but Hajar is very confident and capable of looking after him on her own. I often heard their laughter. She also helped preparing his food.
Hajar is a very cheerful person and she’s also of great help to me. She helped tidy up my flat and helped me with other light house chores. I definitely recommend her.
