About Me

Growing up with sisters was like a crash course in childcare, akin to motherhood but without prior experience. I've journeyed through all stages, from their first steps to assisting with homework, learning invaluable lessons about patience, creativity, and managing the unexpected twists of childhood. I could write extensive essays on everything from nappy changing to meal times – the preparation, execution, and the joyous and challenging moments that follow.

I'm confident in my cooking skills, bolstered by a comprehensive understanding of children's dietary needs. This knowledge springs from avid reading and my current dietetics course at university. If your child has allergies or specific medical dietary requirements, rest assured, they are in safe hands with me.

In addition to my experience with my sisters, I have a brother with global developmental delays and a history as a cancer patient. This experience has perfectly accustomed me to dealing with a wide range of adversities in children. I am well-versed in addressing challenges such as behavioral problems and mental health issues. My journey with my brother has not only deepened my understanding but also equipped me with the resilience and skills necessary to provide compassionate and effective care to children facing similar difficulties.
I also had the opportunity to work in a nursery for a few weeks, a real eye-opener. Caring for other people's children, as opposed to family members like my sisters, presented unique challenges and learning experiences. It helped me understand and adapt to different behaviors effectively.

Above all, I adore children. They bring immense joy and fulfillment. Until I have my own, I'd be delighted to care for others, recognizing that everyone needs time.
I firmly believe in creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment for kids. Striking a balance between playtime and learning, ensuring adherence to daily routines, and prioritizing safety (a solid 10 on my priority scale) are my guiding principles.
