I’m 38 and a mum to a 2, nearly 3 year old who we waited a long time for!
I’m very positive by nature and really do celebrate daily the fact I am living my dream of having my own family and having much fun along the way!
I’ve recently taken redundancy from a fast paced corporate position of nearly 11 years. After my maternity leave ended in 2022, I returned to the role for just two days per week but it was a distraction from where my heart was so I’m thankful I’ve had the opportunity to leave.
I’m now looking to get back into childcare after a while out of it, and to a field that I am the most confident in. I’m available part time and can be flexible on the day but my preference is mid week days.
My Experience
I worked in an MOD nursery looking after 2-3’s but with baby and preschool cover, I’ve done ad-hoc nanny work over the years but mainly, I’ve looked after 9 nieces and nephews over the last 20 years who now range from 8-21!
My Qualifications
No formal education within childcare, I was distracted studying accountancy thinking this was a sensible, secure career choice!
