About Me
Hey! My name is Kazz and I am a babysitter/helping hand. I enjoy being a role model and trusting adult to children. I love helping them develop into the people they become and it is huge passion of mine to work with children. One day I hope to have my own nursery and childcare center. I have just moved back from America where i studied at college on a basketball scholarship. I had the honour of working with children in the community and providing babysitting services to local families and friends. I love helping out people in need and often help with daily chores and housekeeping within my friends and family. They often refer people to me and that’s helped build my clientele. This includes: cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, organising, laundry etc
My Experience
I have experience with babysitting kids with learning difficulties, special needs, autism, severe learning difficulties and also severe epilepsy. My experience ranges from children from 0-19. I have also coached kids in basketball from the ages of 5-17. I used to volunteer in the community over in America to take individuals out with autism and special needs and spend time doing activities such as bowling, basketball etc. For most of my life, I have helped care for my severely epileptic sister who also has severe learning difficulties, so I understand what it takes to be a trusted adult and to be compassionate and patient. I also was a carer for my great grandmother who had Alzheimer’s.
My Qualifications
I have first aid training and a level 1 coaching certificate.
Though I have no other formal qualifications, I am willing to earn them if it makes a family feel more secure and safe within my presence. I’m willing to do what it takes to earn the family’s trust and also the child’s.
