About Me
Hi, I'm currently doing a Master's in Child Psychotherapy and have lots of experience working with children both in and outside of educational settings. I'm extremely patient and take a caring, empathetic and flexible approach to childcare. I'm happy to help with homework, school routines and whatever else makes your family's day a little easier.
I'm also a very active and outdoorsy person, so I'm more than happy to get children out and about if that's something they'd enjoy. I love being creative too and would be very happy to get stuck into games, arts and crafts or whatever they're interested in!
My Experience
I've worked with children in a range of settings and have studied child development and childcare extensively. I have several years of experience supporting children with SEND and am comfortable adapting my approach to different ages, personalities and needs. I'm particularly patient and calm and enjoy finding creative ways to engage children and support them with whatever they need.
My Qualifications
I have an enhanced DBS and many years of experience working in schools. I have studied psychology and am currently completing a Master's in Child Psychotherapy, with the aim of becoming a child psychotherapist. Also happy to provide character or professional references.
My Availability
My schedule is quite flexible, so I'm happy to work around your family's routine where possible. I'm available for regular babysitting as well as occasional evenings, weekends or one-off childcare.
