About Me
Hi my name is Steph. I live in Stoneleigh with my husband David and my 2 daughters, Charlotte 6 and Sophia 3. I am an OFSTED registered childminder. I offer flexible working hours and live a stones throw from The Mead Infant and Auriol Junior schools. I live in an open plan house where we have access to a large living space which in the warmer weather opens out fully to a large garden area. All the children in my care are treated like an extension of our family. We spend our time at playgroups, the park, farms, Chessington World of Adventure, soft plays and in nice weather, the garden.

I have been a registered childminder since June 2024 and have 2 children of my own, Charlotte 6 and Sophia 3. I have looked after a range of ages from 9 months to 7 years.

My daughter has absolutely loved her time in Steph’s care. We came to Steph for a 7 month interim period before my daughter starts a forest school setting closer to our home. Steph provides a home from home and my daughter thrived in the nurturing and educational environment she provides. Steph is excellent at communicating with parents, is a kind, warm and genuine person and you can see how much the children adore and trust her. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough, the effort and enthusiasm she puts in to all the activities she creates for the children is unmatched. My daughter is going to really miss her.

We feel incredibly lucky to have Steph to have looked after our 5 year old boy in the past 4 months when his carer had gone on maternity leave. Over the past months, she had provided such a warm, nurturing, and caring environment, treating the children as if they were her own. Steph prepared fresh, homemade meals, which gave us great peace of mind knowing our boy was being so well looked after. She is wonderfully creative and always planned engaging activities and we know the kids are very happy at her place. She is also exceptionally organised, and her communication with us was always clear, thoughtful, and reassuring. I always felt fully informed and confident that our boy was in the best hands.
Most importantly, Steph is a genuinely kind and lovely person, and it really shows in the way she cares for the children. I would wholeheartedly recommend Stephanie to any family looking for a dedicated, caring, and reliable childminder.

Steph is wonderful childminder. My daughter loves the time with her and the children! She is providing wonderful, safe environment. Lots of lovely activities, great food and she is extremely well organised with tapestry updates, invocing, communication etc. Can’t be more happy and lucky to have her!
