I would like to briefly introduce myself!
Firstly, I love children and making a positive difference in their lives ? And it seems like children like me too :)
People I've worked with notice my calmness and patience, positivity and reliability. They usually say that I'm a good listener and an empathetic person. Though perfectionism and punctuality are things to still work on... ?
I've had experience with children of different ages: from 0 to 16 y.o.
For the past 2 years I have been looking after two lovely baby twins, a boy and a girl. I assist their parents with various tasks like feeding, personal care, playtime and learning. They recently turned 2 y.o. and started going to nursery and their parents don't need my help as much but we stil take time to see each other and play!
At the moment I do SEN Support Work with young people and adults who have learning disabities, such as autism, ADHD, anxiety and challenging behaviour.
I also worked in a London school during the last year exams season where I specifically worked with teenagers with SEN.
Regarding my certification and training, I have a recent Enhanced DBS, Level 3 First Aid, Safeguarding of Children and Adults, Health and Safety, Infection control, Food Safety and Manual handling.
