Hi, I’m Aliya! x
I’m 28 based in Leeds, Bramley, LS13. Originally from Halifax. I am currently helping families based in Leeds, Pudsey, Halifax, Bradford, Wakefield, Sheffield, Rotherham & Huddersfield. All my families mean everything to me. Each household requires unique skill sets such as working with 5 children at once, autism, eating disorders, ocd, adhd, helping parents battle mental health and other illnesses.
As the eldest sibling in my family, I naturally took on responsibilities from a young age, giving me hands-on experience in caregiving. This has shaped my ability to create a safe, loving, and supportive environment—something I bring into my work with every family I meet.
What sets me apart is my ability to foster trust, emotional development, and a sense of security in children. People often tell me that they feel calm and at peace around me, yet also safe and cared for. I believe this comes from always being the person others lean on, which has made me patient, adaptable, and intuitive in my approach. I also have a niece who is 3 and a nephew born in July 2025, giving me extensive experience caring for infants as well as older children.
My hard work, effort, and loving nature are reflected in the positive reviews I’ve received from many families I help out regularly. Examples of my experience are listed in full detail in the “My Experience” section below, and include:
• Over 5 years of babysitting children of all ages, from infants to teens.
• Full-time live-in nanny, managing routines, homework, and household tasks.
• Working as a live-in carer and healthcare assistant, supporting clients with personal care and mobility.
• Nursing placements in hospitals, including operating theatre, dialysis, and physiotherapy support.
I have experience caring for children across a range of ages—from newborns and toddlers developing independence, to school-aged children navigating routines, and teens needing guidance and support. I easily adapt to different personalities, whether energetic, active kids or those who prefer quiet, creative activities like reading and crafts.
Building strong, trusting relationships with children is at the heart of what I do. I encourage open communication, help children understand their emotions, and support them in managing their feelings in healthy ways. I also believe in teaching consent from an early age, helping children understand personal boundaries, safety, and self-confidence—important life skills that serve them well as they grow.
A lot of who I am today comes from my dad. He was a social worker, ran his own rehabilitation centre and someone families would approach before ever going to the police for help. He was an incredibly kind, loving, and patient person who made sure that family always came first. Losing him in 2021 was one of the hardest things I’ve ever been through, but it also deepened my commitment to carrying on his legacy. The love, security, and support he gave me growing up is what I strive to pass on to every child and family I work with.
Nannying and babysitting bring me so much joy because I get to watch children learn, grow, and develop their unique personalities. Knowing I can play a small part in helping them flourish is incredibly rewarding.
I always take care to align with a family’s values and parenting preferences, ensuring my approach complements what’s already in place. Whether it’s bedtime routines, meal choices, or discipline styles, I follow your lead to create consistency and peace of mind.
I’m also passionate about health and wellbeing, particularly in creating safe, toxin-free environments where children can thrive. I take a mindful approach to the products and foods I use, ensuring they’re as natural and safe as possible.
Beyond working with children, I have a deep love for animals and believe in treating them with the same kindness and respect. My experience caring for them has only strengthened my patience and compassion—qualities that shape my work in all areas of caregiving.

Aliya took care of our child who has severe autism (non-verbal). We were very happy with Aliya’s service as we had a wedding to attend and would not have been able to attend without her help. What’s important was to see our child happy when we returned home which indicates to us he was well looked after by Aliya.
When Aliya first arrived she was so kind to introduce herself to our son that he adapted so quickly like his known her for ages.
Also, Aliya responded back quickly to my messages and reassured me that our son was ok which was a relief.
Thank you so much Aliya we were very happy that you bonded so well with our child and will definitely be calling for your service again xx
