About Me

Hi, I'm Laura. I'm from the Canary Islands (Spain) but have lived in Scotland for +4 years. I am a fully trained Early Years Practitioner, I just came back from a Teaching experience in the Philippines so I am looking for as many hours as possible as a Babysitter. I am also a Spanish Teacher so more than happy to introduce a language to your child or help them to improve. I am passionate about travelling, discovering cultures, and trying different foods. Besides, I spend my free time close to nature, preferably with family or friends. I like art in all its forms, but I love music.

My Experience

Since high school, I started to polish my professional career, although I was not aware of it, as a camp instructor, where I discovered my passion for education. So since I was at university I started with childcare jobs. In 2017, after completing my university degree, I had my first job as a teacher in early years education, and on that journey I have been working since then until today, working in different schools (private/public and with different methodologies) and countries so I have been lucky enough to get to know diverse cultural contexts. All my qualifications and experience here and there, have helped me to build the professional I am today and my passion for children, their development, their well-being and happiness.
