My Experience

I undertook my childcare qualifications working as a childminder from my own home. I had a spare room which was turned into a playroom, the room was planned to offer great facilities for children of all ages. I then went on to become the Manager of a Preschool for approximately a year. The amount of paperwork involved restricted the amount of time I could actually spend with the children and I really missed the childcare side of this work. With this in mind I became an Ofsted Registered Nanny and worked for a variety of families, in a variety of situations. Self development is extremely important to me and I have taken part in the following training, promoting positive behaviour, treasure baskets and heuristic play, health and safety, child protection, forest schools and nutrition/healthy eating. I also have a teaching qualification.

Treasure Baskets and Heuristic Play. Sensory play. Child Development. Health and Safety in Childcare settings. Food Safety Level 2. Forest Schools. Promoting Positive behaviour for ages 4 to 8's. Equality & Diversity Level 2. Improving Personal Exercise, Health and Nutrition. I do hold many other qualifications including Business Management, AAT Accountancy and a Level 3 Award Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)

Monday to Friday 8.00am to 10pm daytime rate £16 per hour. Before 8am and after 10pm £18 per hour. Weekends Saturday or Sunday £20 per hour. Charges negotiable for full weekend care. Event Care charges depend on specific requirements.
