My Summary
Nanny/Babysitter
About Me
I have experience at Combe Down Nursery for the last 3 years and have been involved in
all age groups from babies up to preschool. I was given specific responsibility for 121 care of
children with Special Educational Needs. I love working with children and engaging with
them in a way that works best for them through play, reading and other activities such as
cooking.
I have a strong understanding of health and safety and basic first aid.
I have over a year of hands-on childcare experience caring for a toddler and a child aged 4–5 years for a family as a nanny . During this time, I was responsible for providing attentive, reliable and nurturing care while supporting the children’s individual routines, development and wellbeing.
My responsibilities included school and nursery drop-offs and collections, attending baby and toddler classes, organising age-appropriate activities and days out, preparing nutritious meals and snacks, and managing nap and daily routines. I also encouraged learning through play, creative activities and outings, while ensuring the children were safe, happy and engaged.
Alongside childcare, I carried out a range of household duties, including cleaning, laundry, tidying, organising the children’s belongings and maintaining a clean and comfortable home environment.
This experience has helped me develop strong skills in managing children’s routines, planning activities, multitasking and adapting to the needs of different ages. I am caring, responsible and organised, and I take pride in creating a positive and supportive environment for the children in my care.
I don’t drive but happy to walk everywhere!
