I was recently working with a lovely Russian family with a single child but plenty of playdates and visiting family!
Age Groups & Experience
Experience with ages 5, 6, 2 years, 11 months, and 6 months (primarily).
Experience working in a daycare nursery setting.
I have worked with a wide range of age groups, from infants to 10-year-olds.
Learning-Focused Care:
Daily reading, homework help, and supervising online classes/tutoring.
CELTA-certified teacher – encouraged English speaking, corrected mistakes, expanded vocabulary and confidence.
Activities & Engagement:
Actively played and engaged with children through games, arts & crafts, development toys, and puzzles.
Supervised playdates with up to 3 children and infants.
Attended extra-curriculars such as ballet and swimming.
Routine & Practical Care:
Morning and bedtime routine support.
After-school and summer camp pick-ups.
Preparing meals and snacks, limiting sugar, and promoting healthy habits (e.g., water, fruit, cheese sticks).
Occasional cooking for the family and dinner preparation.
Cleaning at the end of the day.
Washing uniforms and preparing for the next day (including for P.E).
Safety & Communication:
Safeguarding and supervising to prevent choking or falling hazards.
Offering extra help with additional household tasks when needed.
Confirming work hours and giving daily feedback/communication with parents.

- Babysitting from £17.00 per hour
- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)
My last agreement was £18 for one child per hour and £25 for 2+ children
