I'm a fully qualified primary school teacher with over 10 years of experience, currently working in teaching and school leadership. Based in Peckham Rye, South East London, I'm passionate about helping children of all ages and abilities feel happy, confident, safe and supported.
As both a teacher and a mum, I understand just how important it is to find someone you can genuinely trust with your little ones. I pride myself on being warm, patient, approachable and dependable, while bringing plenty of creativity, enthusiasm and fun to everything I do!

I offer friendly, personalised tutoring that helps children build confidence, overcome challenges and develop a genuine love of learning.
With extensive experience teaching across the primary curriculum, I can support children with:
English: Reading, phonics, comprehension, spelling, grammar and creative writing.
Maths: Number fluency, arithmetic, reasoning and problem-solving.
SATs preparation: Helping children feel confident, prepared and ready to succeed.
11+ preparation: Building core English, maths and reasoning skills.

I believe learning should be engaging, encouraging and tailored to each child. My sessions are interactive, supportive and designed to celebrate progress, however big or small!
Babysitting & Childcare
Alongside tutoring, I also offer caring, reliable babysitting and childcare for families looking for someone experienced and trustworthy.
I'm a big believer that children learn best through play, creativity and exploration. Whether we're enjoying imaginative storytelling, arts and crafts, baking, board games, outdoor adventures or simply winding down with a favourite book, I love creating happy, memorable experiences.
I also absolutely love cooking and baking (my banana bread is always a favourite!), and I'm more than happy to help with homework, bedtime routines and age-appropriate activities.
Above all, I aim to create a safe, nurturing and positive environment where children feel comfortable, listened to and valued.

My Experience
I’m a fully qualified primary school teacher with over 10 years of experience working with children of different ages, abilities and backgrounds - I absolutely love what I do!
Throughout my career, I've developed extensive experience in teaching, childcare, safeguarding and supporting children's academic, social and emotional development. I currently hold senior leadership responsibilities within my school and work as a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), meaning children's safety, wellbeing and happiness are always at the heart of everything I do.
Teaching & Tutoring Experience
Alongside classroom teaching, I've held leadership responsibilities across Maths, Science and Reading, giving me a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and how children learn best.
I'm also trained in Read Write Inc. and Little Wandle phonics, and have extensive experience supporting children with reading, writing, spelling, grammar, maths, SATs preparation and homework.
I've privately tutored children aged 5–11, tailoring sessions to their individual learning needs, building confidence and making learning enjoyable through creative, practical and engaging activities.
Special Educational Needs & Inclusion
I have extensive experience supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including adapting activities, breaking learning into manageable steps and using different teaching approaches to help every child succeed.
I also hold additional professional qualifications in school leadership and special educational needs, strengthening my ability to provide patient, inclusive and personalised support.
