About Me
I am an experienced primary teacher and have successfully transitioned to being an Ofsted registered childminder, now taking enquiries and open for business as of June 2026. I am a warm, kind, and organised professional, offering a welcoming, purposeful and nurturing environment.
My approach is centred on building a meaningful connection with each child, taking the time to understand their unique interests and encouraging them to grow at their own pace. I believe gentle encouragement and clear boundaries help children feel secure and confident. My Experience
I have over a decade of professional experience across London in nursery and primary settings. I was also previously an Ofsted-registered childminder, here and my home-based setting was officially rated ‘Outstanding’.
As well as teaching I have supported children with special educational needs (SEN) and provided online tuition for young learners. My background allows me to blend the experience and insights of a teacher with my personal experience as a parent to offer nurturing, flexible, and customised care.
Naturally calm, patient, and creative, I am committed to working in partnership with families to ensure every child feels safe, settled, and purposefully engaged in meaningful learning and play.
My Qualifications
I have a BEd teaching degree and 12 years of in school experience as well as experience in home settings.
My Availability
I love working with toddlers and preschool children, generally welcoming little ones from 18 months plus. However, my age range is flexible, so please reach out if you have a younger or older child needing care. Hours are 8am drop off and up to 6pm collection. I am now officially registered with Ofsted as a childminder and available for quality childcare as of June 2026.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
I accept private fees, tax-free childcare, childcare vouchers, and government-funded places for eligible children.
