About Me
Hello, my name is Amelie Moffat. I am 22 years old and have recently graduated from the Glasgow School of Art, and have been working as a children's art teacher ever since. I am passionate about the nurture, safety and education of children and young people. I am naturally caring and creative, and feel comfortable creating safe spaces for children to be themselves. I am active and am happy to think of fun and lively activities for your children, both outside and in the home. In particular, nature-based activities, both passive and educational, can make a great addition to a child's everyday life.
My Experience
I have taught children aged 4-12 art in summer camps for the past year, and so have spent a lot of time caring for young people. This experience has given me the ability to not only gently direct young people but also predict how to entertain their slightly short attention spans with consistent activity and stimulation. I also have a BA in Fine Art, and so can be a great addition to both the artistic and academic education of you're children.
