My Experience
I have spent two summers in America working at the same traditional, educational summer camp. I was working with children ages 8-15, with some cover in our daycamp setting which involved 4-11 year olds. This environment allowed me to teach outdoor living skills in a two hour focus in the morning and then a two hour block of my chosen educational topic in the afternoon, allowing me to create and develop different programs. It was an overnight camp so I was in charge of the safety and welfare of the children on a 24/7 schedule.
Other work experience I have is 5 years of waitressing, farming, and VCA. Although this is not related to childcare it means I have a strong work ethic and I'm happy to do a variety of different jobs.
My Qualifications
I have a adult and paediatric first aid/CPR/AED American Red Cross certificate
My Availability
I am a university student so work around my timetable but I'm not much of a party goer so my nights are free. Depending on the days and times I am flexible with hours
