About Me
I’m a friendly, reliable, and caring student who is studying English Literature at university. I really enjoy working with children and creating safe, supportive, and engaging environments where they can learn, have fun, and feel confident. My background in midwifery training and experience as a Learning Support Assistant means that whilst I don’t currently hold a formal childcare qualification, I bring both strong practical skills and a calm, professional approach to childcare. Families describe me as patient, approachable, and trustworthy, which are qualities I aim to bring into every role!
I particularly have a passion for education, so support with homework is greatly welcomed - some subjects even up to GCSE level
My Experience
Midwifery Training (1 year): Completed extensive health, hospital, and first aid training (both in-person and online), covering emergency response, safeguarding, and child safety. Though I don’t hold the formal Paediatric First Aid Certificate’, I do have substantial training and e-learning certificates for it.
Learning Support Assistant – Secondary School (1 year): Supported students with learning and wellbeing, completed compulsory CPD including safeguarding and first aid. Developed strong skills in communication, de-escalation, and supporting children with additional needs.
Additional Childcare Experience:
Babysitting for local families when needed. (Ages 3-10)
I volunteer at a Christian youth festival every year. (Ages 12-17)
Have previously volunteered at weekly Church crèche. (Ages 0-4)
One week work experience at a Primary school. (Ages 2-11)

My Availability
I’m quite flexible depending on what is needed. I do prefer to have set working days and times to remain organised, but this isn’t a requirement.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
My standard rate is around £11 per hour. I’m happy to adjust slightly depending on the number of children, late finishes, or any extra responsibilities. I usually ask for a minimum of 2 hours per booking, and I’m flexible to discuss overnight or longer sessions. I always agree on the rate with families beforehand so everything is clear and comfortable for both sides!
