I'm 40, with 26 years of childcare experience - including SEND. I hold an ongoing Enhanced-Level DBS Certificate which is fully registered with the government update service.
I am friendly, smiley, very conscientious, and everyone says I am great with kids! I hold a Level 3 teaching qualification and often spend time teaching my partner's children about geography, history, space, nature, etc. (all things I am passionate about!)
I also hold a Safeguarding qualification and have taught classrooms of volunteers on Safeguarding children myself. I have completed a St Johns Ambulance first aid course in the past, and have nearly 30 years of looking after children in different settings. However, to bolster this, I have also booked to complete the official Ofsted Paediatric First Aid Course too.
In March 2025, I relocated from Bedfordshire to North Devon to be with my partner. I have taken a career break from corporate office jobs and am fully flexible days, evenings and weekends to help out with your babysitting needs.
My Experience
I'm 40 years old and have looked after babies and children of all ages for 26 years - from babysitting for various people in the village when I was 14, to my god-children (now aged 1 & 4), and also my partner's two children (aged 6 & 10). I worked in a nursery when I was in my late teens, and worked with children in a school setting two years ago.
