I’m a caring, responsible, and enthusiastic individual with a strong interest in supporting children’s growth and development. I enjoy creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment where children feel valued and encouraged to learn through play. As a childcare assistant, I focus on providing attentive care, assisting with daily routines, organising fun and educational activities, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. I take pride in building trusting relationships with both children and parents, and I always aim to contribute to a warm, nurturing atmosphere that supports every child’s wellbeing and confidence.
My Experience
During my time volunteering at a local childcare centre, I supported educators in supervising and engaging children aged 3–5 in daily activities. I helped organise creative play sessions, reading circles, and outdoor games, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all children. I also assisted with snack preparation and maintained cleanliness in play areas. This experience taught me the importance of patience, clear communication, and adaptability when working with young children. It was rewarding to see how small interactions—like encouraging participation or resolving minor conflicts—could positively influence their confidence and social development.
My Qualifications
I am pursing masters's in Electronics Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University. Previous to do this I have had experiences in childcare back in India.
