My Experience

I’ve gained a lot of experience working with children through my job as a qualified swimming teacher for around 4 years, where I’ve been responsible for their safety (supported with my STA Safety Award), learning, and confidence in the water. Alongside this, I’ve also babysat for friends’ siblings and my parents’ friends’ children, which has given me experience caring for different ages and personalities in a home environment. Being part of my university lifesaving society has also strengthened my first aid skills and focus on safety especially after being in a lifesaving club since I was 13. Altogether, these experiences mean I’m confident supporting children, whether that’s keeping them entertained, helping with routines, or making sure they feel safe and cared for.

My Qualifications

- Qualified swimming teacher with several years’ experience working with children of all ages
- trained in CPR, rescue, and emergency response through the STA Safety Award and member of my university’s Lifesaving Society, with a strong focus on safety and emergency care
- Completed A levels in English Literature, History, Drama, Maths, and the Welsh Baccalaureate – happy to support with homework and learning
- Currently studying American Studies and History at university, developing strong organisation, communication, and people skills
- Experienced in childcare through both professional teaching and babysitting for families

My Availability

I am mainly available during the day and evenings throughout the week, I am very flexible when fitting around my university studies. The only regular times I’m not available are Tuesdays 7:30pm-10:30pm Wednesdays from 4:30–6:30pm (and occasionally not free after dinner time - 8:30ish)and Sundays from 9am–1pm. I’m very happy to work with parents to arrange a schedule that suits your family, whether that’s daytime help, all day supervision, after-school care, or evening babysitting. I’m also available during school holidays.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My rate is £15 per hour, which reflects the experience and skills I bring to babysitting. I’m a qualified swimming teacher with several years of professional childcare experience, as well as trained in CPR rescue and emergency response through the STA Safety Award and then lots of first aid training experience through my role in the lifesaving society alongside the competitions we do in that emergency rescue field. This means safety and wellbeing are always my top priority.
Alongside care, I can also help with homework and learning, having completed A levels in English Literature, History, Drama, Maths, and the Welsh Baccalaureate. I aim to provide more than just supervision, offering safe, engaging, and supportive childcare that gives parents peace of mind.
