Senior Performer & Camp Counsellor

July 2024 to Present
While I'm back home, l've had the pleasure of working the most magical job of all. As a children's entertainer at a local drama company, l've been able to hone my skills as a creative actor whilst also add to my childcare arsenal. From birthday parties to summer camps, l've proved my worth as l've steadily climbed up the ranks to Senior Performer & Camp Manager this past summer. l've also worked with special needs kids throughout this job, using strategies created by the trained childcare professional & therapist I work under.

Being a Camp Manager has taught me a plethora of organisation skills, allowing me a managerial position where l dealt with both coworkers, parents, and kids alike! This job has been a dream come true as I continue to keep the magic alive in children's hearts whilst also ensuring they're safe and learning not only for the classroom but for the broader world, with activities focused on honing fine motor skills, alongside social competencies and a dash of princess etiquitte.

Assistant Coach

There was a lot of responsibility required for this role as this was a sports-based camp, which had several days consisting of swimming. It was imperative that we kept an eye on the children at all times and this improved my attention to detail, as it was vital that we saw everything happening with the kids to ensure their safety. I had fun working with the children to maximise their enjoyment whilst also keeping them safe.

Junior Counsellor
Starfish Village - George Town
July 2019 to August 2019
During my time at Starfish Village, I aided the kids in their many activities and worked as an assistant to ensure both their safety and their happiness whilst at the summer camp. Working with children was an enjoyable experience where l was able to display my maturity and responsibility, as well as my problem solving skills when dealing with temperamental children. This job improved my sociability and changed the way l interacted with people, ensuring that l'm always civil and have their best interests in mind.

My Qualifications

Red Cross First Response Training (2022)
Completed a first response training course with the Red Cross.

Darkness to Light Training (2024)
I've completed the Stewards of Children Darkness to Light training, which teaches adults to prevent, recognise, and react responsibly to child abuse.

A-Levels (2025)
I've completed A-levels in Theatre Studies, Economics and French this past May, alongside an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) at Taunton School in Somerset.

My Availability

Hoping to work part time as I'm a fulltime student at university, but am flexible around my schedule as long as it fits around my classes. Looking to work 2-4 times a week, can do oneoffs where needed. Available fullday weekends.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

As I'm a student I'm okay with a slightly lower pay rate, with an opportunity to learn & grow perhaps allowing for payrises in the longterm. Currently just in need of a job.
