My Experience

I have experience caring for children in a nurturing and responsible way, supporting their daily routines and ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and happy in my care. I am confident in looking after children of different ages and adapting my approach to meet their individual needs.

I have supported children with everyday activities such as playtime, mealtimes, bedtime routines, and learning-based activities. I always aim to create a calm and positive environment where children feel secure and encouraged.

Through my experience, I have developed strong skills in patience, communication, and understanding children’s emotions and behaviour. I enjoy engaging children in creative and educational activities, including baking and cooking when appropriate, as a fun way to learn and bond.

I am reliable, organised, and able to follow instructions carefully, ensuring that parents feel confident and reassured when their children are in my care.

My Qualifications

I have my Level 3 Childcare/Early Years qualification and Level 3 SENCO, as well as Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, SEN, ADHD, Understanding Autism Level 2, SLCN, positive behaviour and distressed behaviour, children’s mental health and wellbeing, child health and safety, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, BSL, newborn care, baby first aid, development and play.

I’ve also worked with children in nurseries, primary schools, childcare settings and families for several years, including children with different learning needs and abilities. So I’m very used to adapting activities and the way I support a child depending on what works best for them. ?


I am also knowledgeable in creating engaging, age-appropriate activities that support learning and creativity, while ensuring children feel happy, secure, and supported.

I am committed to continuing to develop my skills in childcare and gaining further experience to provide the best possible care for children.
