My Experience

Hi! My name is Alisha, and I have a lot of hands-on experience working with children of all ages. I’ve worked at a nursery for six months, where I helped care for babies, toddlers, and young children—supporting their learning, play, and daily routines in a safe and fun environment.

As the oldest of eight siblings, I’ve naturally developed strong childcare skills from an early age. I’m used to managing busy routines, helping with homework, preparing meals, and keeping younger ones entertained while ensuring they’re always safe and cared for.

I’ve also babysat for many families across in Cardiff and Blackburn, giving me experience with children from different backgrounds and age groups. Whether it’s keeping them busy with creative activities, helping with bedtime, or just being someone they can laugh and feel comfortable around—I always make sure kids feel happy, supported, and listened to.

Parents can rely on me to be responsible, patient, and trustworthy, with a genuine love for children and a passion for creating a positive environment for them to grow and have fun.

My Qualifications

I hold a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care and a Level 4 qualification in Children and Families, which have given me strong knowledge of child development, safeguarding, and supporting children’s emotional and physical well-being.

I currently work in a care home for young children, where I provide daily care, emotional support, and help create a nurturing and structured environment. This role has strengthened my ability to handle different needs, follow care plans, and build trusting relationships with children in a professional setting.

Combined with my nursery experience, babysitting and hands-on experience raising my younger siblings, I have a well-rounded understanding of how to care for children of all ages in a kind, patient, and responsible way.

My Availability

I’m very flexible with my hours and can easily adjust to fit a family’s schedule.
• I’m available at any time on weekends and on Wednesdays.
• On other days, I’m available before 9 a.m. or after 2 p.m.

I always do my best to accommodate parents’ needs, whether it’s regular babysitting, last-minute help, or evening care.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £9.00 per hour

My babysitting rates are affordable and flexible, depending on the family’s needs and the number of children.
• Standard rate: £7–£9 per hour
• Evening or late-night babysitting: £9–£10 per hour.
• I also offer discounts for regular bookings, amount of children or longer hours.

I aim to provide quality, reliable childcare at a fair price that works for parents.
