Hello! I'm Charis
I’m a friendly, reliable and creative person currently looking for babysitting/nannying work. I absolutely love working with children and supporting their growth through fun, exploration and positive connection.
I’m very family-orientated and have 8 nieces and nephews, so spending time around children of all ages comes naturally to me. I’m also very outdoorsy and happiest when I'm hiking, wild swimming or exploring nature, which is part of what inspired me to begin my Forest School training.
Creativity is a big part of who I am. I have a degree in music (songwriting) and love singing, playing instruments and bringing music into play. I also enjoy knitting, jewellery making and arts & crafts, and love encouraging children to express themselves creatively.
I’m calm, patient, and passionate about creating a warm, safe and fun environment where children feel confident and happy.

2 years experience working in different nursery settings supporting children with routines, learning, and play
Experience working with SEN children, using a gentle, child-led and inclusive approach
Currently progressing through Forest School training, focusing on outdoor learning and development
Extensive hands-on experience caring for babies, toddlers and older children through my role as an aunt to 8 nieces and nephews
My childcare background includes supporting children with emotional regulation, communication, early developmental milestones, creative activities, outdoor exploration, and play-based learning.

Finishing off Forest School Level 3
BA Hons Songwriting
My Availability
Very flexible at the moment while finishing off my Forest School training.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
An extra fee may be added for fuel costs if you are outside of Bridport
