About Me
Hi my name is Holly I am a 22 year old University Student from just outside of Edinburgh! I am currently in my final year of studying psychology and hope to carry on my studies to become a child psychotherapist. I currently work in an organisation which supports children with special needs and I am hoping to fill some of my free time up babysitting/childminding.
My Experience
As previously stated, the majority of my experience lies within the sector of children with additional support needs. However, I do also have experience (through my own means) of babysitting in which I have minded children ranging from 2 years - 10 years. My experience includes getting children ready for the day, packing/making lunches, day trips and activities, and getting ready for bed. Because I have worked with a number of children of different ages and abilities, I would say my experience is strong with every age/personality type.
My Qualifications
In terms of SQA Qualifications relevant to childcare, it currently stands I have a National 5 level Childcare Qualification and a Higher level Home Economics Qualification.
I have also been trained in my current job which has allowed me to gain Qualifications, these are: First Aid Training, Epilepsy Training, Child protection training.
I also have a registered account with the SSSC.
My Availability
Because I am currently at university, my availability changes per term (i.e. September-Christmas & January-Spring time)
