My Summary

My Experience

I’ve been working with children for most of my life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I started my first job as a tutor when I was 13 years old, helping children learn English and Maths, and then took on another tutoring role at 16, tutoring children 11+ material. This taught me responsibility, and how to support children with different personalities and needs.

Since then, I’ve spent many years babysitting for family and friends, caring for children and building good relationships with parents. I also regularly babysit my two nieces, which has given me lots of hands-on experience with everyday routines like playtime, meals, bath time, and bedtime.

Alongside this, I’m currently studying to become a children’s nurse and have completed hospital placements caring for children of all ages — from newborns to older children.

Overall, I bring a lot of love, care, and attentiveness to every child I look after, and I always aim to make children feel safe, happy, and well cared for.

My Qualifications

I have completed and been rewarded 11 GCSEs. I have also completed my A Levels in Philosophy, Sociology, and Economics, achieving ABB.

I’m currently studying Paediatric Nursing at a Russell Group university, working towards my degree and hoping to graduate next year. My studies and placements have given me valuable knowledge of child development, health, safety, and compassionate care across all age groups.

I have also completed the following e-learning courses: Health, Safety and Welfare, Infection Prevention and Control, Moving and Handling, Paediatric Life Support, Safeguarding Children.

I’ve always valued education and have always tried my best!

My Availability

When I’m not on placement, I’m very flexible with my availability. Throughout January, I’m especially flexible and happy to help on weekdays and weekends, including mornings, afternoons, evenings and overnight if need be.

I’m also open to last-minute or emergency babysitting, whenever possible, and understand that plans can sometimes change unexpectedly.

During my university placements (which run for around 6 weeks at a time), my availability is a little more limited, but I always try to be as accommodating as possible. I’m more than happy to discuss my availability in detail and find something that works for both of us — please feel free to get in touch if you’re interested.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My standard rate is £15 per hour per child. If you need care for more than one child, I’m always happy to have a chat and agree on a price that feels fair and comfortable for you.

For weekend and overnight care, my rate is £18 per hour.
