About Me
I’m a 21 year old university graduate working as a nanny on my year out before going back to uni to qualify as a primary school teacher. I studied English lit at Oxford and I’m hoping to train as a children’s literacy specialist. I love working with kids and take an active interest in their learning. My current job is coming to an end at the start of March 2026, so I’m looking for work back home in Scotland.
My Experience
I’ve been babysitting weekly since I was a teenager (4 years), and more recently worked in kid’s art classes and forest schools. At the moment, I’m working as a live-in nanny in Spain, caring for two boys aged 4 and 6 and teaching them English.
My Qualifications
I don’t have any formal childcare qualifications - so far all my knowledge has been gathered from on-the-job experience. My degree award is a 2:1 BA Hons in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Nannying from £10.00 per hour (gross)
£10 per hour is my general rate, but I’m open to negotiation!
