My aim is to give parents peace of mind knowing that their children are being well cared for, while making sure the children feel happy, comfortable and supported in my care. I also speak fluent Arabic.
My Experience
I have many years of experience working with children of different ages and backgrounds. I started working with children from the age of 16, when I worked at an after-school play centre in Westminster. This gave me an early understanding of how important it is to provide children with a safe, happy and supportive environment.
In 2007, I worked in a nursery, where I gained experience caring for younger children and supporting their development, routines and day-to-day needs. In 2009, I worked in a school, gaining further experience with school-aged children and understanding the importance of supporting their education, behaviour and individual needs.
In 2013, I worked as a nanny, where I developed further experience providing one-to-one care, organising routines, preparing meals, supporting children with activities and ensuring they were safe, happy and well cared for.
I am also a mother of three children, aged 14, 12 and 10, which has given me many years of hands-on experience caring for children, managing different personalities and needs, supporting their education and helping them become confident and independent.
I have a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare, and I would describe myself as kind, patient, trustworthy, reliable, caring, compassionate, understanding and responsible. I believe children need someone who will listen to them, communicate with them respectfully and make them feel comfortable and valued.
Overall, I bring both professional childcare experience and real-life parenting experience, and I genuinely enjoy working with children and helping them feel safe, happy and supported.
My Qualifications
I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare, which has given me a strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, communication and creating a safe and supportive environment for children.
I have extensive childcare experience dating back to the age of 16. My professional experience includes:
* From age 16 – After-School Play Centre, Westminster: Gained my first experience working with children and supporting their care, activities and daily routines.
* 2007 – Nursery: Worked in a nursery environment, gaining experience caring for younger children and supporting their development and day-to-day needs.
* 2009 – School: Worked in a school, gaining further experience supporting school-aged children with their routines, learning and wellbeing.
* 2013 – Nanny: Worked as a nanny, providing personalised childcare and supporting children with their daily routines, activities, meals and general wellbeing.
Alongside my professional experience, I am also a mother of three children, which has given me many additional years of practical, hands-on childcare experience.
My combination of formal childcare training, professional experience and parenting experience allows me to provide children with safe, caring and reliable support while understanding and responding to their individual needs.
