About Me
We’re a family of four—Rob, Susan, and our two children, Emily and James. We’re relocating to Colchester this summer and are really looking forward to settling into the area.
Emily (4 in October) is a friendly, polite and caring little girl who is confident and outgoing. She enjoys being around other children, getting involved in activities, and exploring the world around her. She likes Duplo, unicorns and ducks.
James (1 in October) is a happy, easy-going baby who is playful and content, and is starting to develop his own little personality.
As a family, we enjoy getting outdoors at the weekends, exploring new places, and spending quality time together.
We try to keep a good level of structure and routine at home, while also encouraging creativity, social development, and curiosity.
We’re looking to build a positive, open relationship with whoever looks after our children—someone we can trust, communicate with easily, and who will feel like an extension of our family.
My Requirements
We are looking for a childminder for our two children from around the beginning of September 2026.
Ideally, this would be for Monday to Thursday, approximately 8:00am to 5:30pm, although we’re happy to be flexible around your usual working hours and structure.
Our preference would be for both children to be cared for together, if possible, for consistency and ease.
Emily will be starting school the following year, so we would be interested in a setting that can support her development and transition towards that stage. James will be in early years for a few more years, so a nurturing and engaging environment is important for him.
