About Me
An experienced childcare professional with a genuine passion for supporting children and helping them feel safe, happy and confident. I currently work as a Teaching Assistant in a specialist secondary school and have experience supporting children across a wide range of ages, from preschool and primary through to secondary education.
I have experience working with children with ADHD, autism, anxiety and additional needs, and use a calm, nurturing and trauma-informed approach. I believe every child is unique, and I focus on building trusting relationships, understanding their individual needs and providing consistent support and encouragement.
Alongside my professional experience, I am a mum to two children, giving me a strong understanding of family routines, homework, activities and the everyday challenges and joys of parenting. I also have a background in the frontline ambulance service, which has given me excellent safeguarding awareness, confidence in emergencies and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
I enjoy creating a positive and fun environment for children through play, crafts, reading, outdoor activities and supporting their interests. I aim to provide childcare that parents can feel confident and reassured about, knowing their children are cared for with patience, kindness and respect.

* Previous frontline ambulance service experience, providing strong safeguarding awareness, first aid knowledge and the ability to stay calm in unexpected situations.
* Confident supporting children with play, creative activities, reading, homework, meals and bedtime routines.

- Weekend babysitting

I am happy to discuss individual family needs, routines and any specific requirements.
I cover Folkestone, Hythe, Sandgate, Saltwood, Lympne, Dymchurch, New Romney / Romney Marsh, rural Ashford and surrounds.
I generally care for a maximum of 3 children at one time, usually aged 2 years and above. However, I am happy to discuss individual family requirements, as this depends on the children’s ages, personalities, needs and the type of care required.
