My Experience

I bring over 30 years of experience working with children from newborn through to school age, in a variety of settings including private nanny roles, nursery environments and as the owner of a pre-school setting.

Throughout my career, I have supported children at all stages of their early development, planning age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play, creativity and exploration. I have a strong understanding of child development and always tailor my approach to meet each child’s individual needs and personality.

My experience also includes providing one-to-one support for children with additional needs, working closely with families and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

More recently, I have worked within primary school settings as a Teaching Assistant, further strengthening my knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and early education.

I am confident caring for multiple children, establishing routines, and creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel secure, happy and able to thrive.

Qualified Nursery Nurse
• Over 30 years’ experience in childcare and early years education
• Former Pre-School Owner/Manager
• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Teaching Assistant experience within primary school settings
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Paediatric First Aid
• Safeguarding & Child Protection training

• Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
