Hi, I’m Vicki – I offer childcare but also I am a Health Play Specialist (Honeybee Kids) supporting children in the community who need more than “just childcare.”
I work with children experiencing:
• Toileting difficulties (including school refusal, withholding, accidents)
• Medical or hospital-related anxiety
• Emotional overwhelm, anxiety or behavioural challenges
• Neurodivergence (including PDA profiles) and more.
My approach is simple:

Through therapeutic play and gentle, child-led support, I help children feel safe in their bodies again—so progress can actually happen.

My Experience
I have 25 years experience working in the NHS as a Health Play Specialist. 10 years working in a nursery. Also had experience as a nanny, babysitter and other childcare settings. I also have a small business called Honeybee Kids Therapeutic support. Supporting children and families with toileting issues, well being, hospital prep, hospital phobia, chronic illness support etc.
My Qualifications
BTEC Level 4 qualification – A Professional Diploma in
Specialised Play for Sick Children and Young People, accredited at Level 4 on the National Qualification Framework.
NAMCW Diploma
NVQ 3
