I have over 7 years of professional experience caring for children and young people, including extensive work with those with learning disabilities, autism, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
As a Senior Children's Residential Care Coordinator, I was responsible for the day-to-day care of young people aged 10–18 in a registered care home, writing and reviewing individual care plans, managing complex behaviour, and supporting a team of carers. This role sharpened my ability to stay calm under pressure, build trust with young people, and create consistent, nurturing routines.
Whether a child needs gentle encouragement, structured boundaries, or specialist support, I have the training and experience to deliver it professionally and compassionately.
