Margot
Babysitter in St. Andrews
My Summary
About Me
Hi I’m Margot, a medical student at the University of St Andrews with a genuine passion for working with children. As a bilingual English–French speaker, I’m able to support French-speaking families and help children develop confidence in both languages. I’m qualified in paediatric Basic Life Support (BLS), giving parents reassurance that their child is in safe and medically aware hands. Through internships in paediatric and specialist care settings, I’ve developed a strong understanding of child wellbeing, development, and safeguarding. I’m calm, patient, enthusiastic, and love creating a safe, positive environment where children feel comfortable and engaged.
My Experience
Alongside my medical training, I have experience tutoring children in science and French, always adapting my approach to each child’s age and learning style. I particularly enjoy making science fun and interactive for primary school-aged children through hands-on activities and experiments. Whether I’m helping with homework, organising creative activities, or simply being a reliable and caring presence, I aim to make every child feel supported, confident, and happy.
